5. How much did it cost for all of the food?

6. Did you rent a limo? And if so, how much did the limo cost?

7. What kind of favors did you provide (If favors were given)

8. Did you have any groomsmen or bridesmaids?

9. If so, how much did their dresses/tuxedos/shoes cost?

10. How much did it cost for the makeup and hair?

One last note please remember that planning a wedding is exciting and fun but it is only for one day. Dont go crazy keep in budget and use the wedding money you get to get a home or a really nice apartmentor invest the money in a nice getaway honeymoon. It is doable to have a wedding wihtin your means dont buy into the commeracalism that the wedding has to be over the top and expensive. Have a great time planning your wedding.

How much did you spend on your entire wedding?

1. Where was your reception site?

Jax, FL Hill-Top Club (Five star restaurant)

2. How much did the chair covers and centerpieces (flowers) cost?

I didnt pay for covers, they had nice chairs already, but going rate is about $2 per cover. I did my own centerpieces. I used 10" tall cylinder vases, $1.50 per at Wal-Mart, hot glued matching ribbon around them then used flowers from Publix, Sams, and the local flower shops in them. Total, I'd say $6 per centerpiece.

3. How much did it cost for all the photography? A friend took the pictures, so I just bought the paper and ink for my photo printer. They come out nice. You should plan on $2-3k for professional photography.

4. How much did it cost for host, band, or entertainer? I used a DJ. He was $400 for 4 hours. He did the ceremony music as well.

5. How much did it cost for all of the food? $22 a head. Buffet with salmon, roast beef and chicken florentine. It was $2200 for food for 45-50 people plus wine and a keg, service fees, bartender fee, and room rentals.

6. Did you rent a limo? And if so, how much did the limo cost? No limo. The groomsmen had fun "decorating" my husband's car.

7. What kind of favors did you provide (If favors were given) I got the little boxes from Wal-Mart or Jo-Ann and used ribbon to match my colors. I put matching tissue paper in them to dress them up a bit and put assorted candies in them.

8. Did you have any groomsmen or bridesmaids? yes, 3 of each.

9. If so, how much did their dresses/tuxedos/shoes cost? bridesmaids... about $150 per, men, about $100. (They pay for that, not you)

10. How much did it cost for the makeup and hair? Did my own makeup, I got eyeliner to match the maids dresses. I got clip in hair extensions from EBay for $90 and just did long curls. My mom did that.

11. How much did your dress cost? $1500, but I found it on the sale rack as a discontinued item for $99. I then put $100 into alterations.

12. Do you regret doing paying for any of these things? Nope!

13. Did you have your wedding in the spring, summer, or winter? Late May. In FL, that is summer.

14. How much did it cost for both wedding bands? Mine was a set with my engagement ring, $4k and his was $400.

We cut corners where we could, but spent the most money where we thought necessary. We had a Sunday evening wedding, so I was able to negotiate a good deal on the food with the restaurant. I hope this helps!

1 - 5 We found a place that was an all in one, very beautiful and inexpensive. It included ceremony up stairs, reception downstairs for 110 people, the photgraphy with at minimum 125 proofs, the negatives and a copyright release. We had the chapel for 8 hours, including time to get ready and take photos before the ceremony. A nice buffet with our choice of food from a menu to suit our tastes. The owner was the "planner" she helped to make sure everything was going well and then ran the DJ booth. All decor was already there, but I could ahve added if I wanted to, but to save money, I didn't.

6. we didn't rent a limo

7. OUr favor was champagne flutes that were etched with the designed my husband created for our wedding invites (to which he created and printed, which he went to college for)

8. 3 of each

9. Groomsmen and bridesmaids paid for their own outfit, but in exchange, bridesmades got to choose a dress of there liking with a few limits (length and color scheme)

Groomsmen all had a tux without jacket, with vest and tie. Shoes of their choice.

10. makeup and hair on my own, bridesmaids could do what they wanted.

11. My dress was 450 + tax + 85 for alterations

12. nope

13. spring

14. Mine was 350 ish his was 670 (but it was a suprise, we were supposed to use a band I had bought for him before, but I decided to suprise him with the one he found and really liked during the ring exchange in the ceremony.)

Total cost of the wedding:

$5000, maybe a penny more or less, but right on my budget!

How much did you spend on your entire wedding?

1. We used a private home

2. We did not have chair covers, our chairs were 鎷?80 and we had candles as centre pieces, no flowers, cost about 鎷? per table.

3. My brother in law did it for free for us (he is a photographer)

4. We did not hire a host/band/entertainer, we hosted it ourselves

5. 鎷?00 (we had 45 guests, that covered alcohol/refreshments also)

6. My uncle has one, so he took us

7. Small boxes with good chocolates inside, decorated with ribbon and silver heart tags.

8. One best man, one bridesmaid

9. Best man's suit was 鎷?50, bridesmaid dress was 鎷?00, shoes were 鎷?0 (we paid for all of that)

12. No regrets at all

How much did you spend on your entire wedding?

As you know, costs depend upon where you live, and the number of guests you are planning for.

Our wedding was about 25k, hosting 200 people, very traditional wedding, nothing fancy.

1. Hotel ballroom in our home city.

2. No chair covers. Had two or three centerpieces of live flowers, which we used at the church, then at the head table. Cost about 80. Centerpieces for guest tables were same ones a friend made for the shower - she just wanted the bare cost covered for materials, so it was 35.

3. Photography, just under a grand.

4. Had dj for dance, about 400.

5. Ah, the food. Had a buffet - am guessing about 7 grand, don't remember. Also had full open bar.

6. No limo. We wanted our whole wedding party of 10 to go together, so we rented a big white van, when decorated, was really beautiful. Cost about 60 for rental, plus gas.

7. Favours - printed napkins and matches, mints in tulle with ribbon closure, little doves made of dough.

8. Four attendants on each side.

9. Girls dresses - about 170; tuxes about 100.

10. Girls did own makeup. My mom paid for all our hair to be done - probably about 100 (small city!).

11. My gown, veil and tiara were around 1000, including alterations. It was a very traditional gown of bridal satin.

12. No regrets. We hosted the kind of wedding we wanted - a great celebration for family and friends!

13. Had a end of July wedding.

14. My wedding band was about 400. My engagement ring was a solitaire with shoulder stones, and the wedding band had three of those smaller stones on it. 14k gold, beautiful flat-style band. His wedding band cost about 300, plain gold band.

Wow, that was fun!
