What do you think of Sepultura, Soulfly and the Cavalera Conspiracy?

I LOVE the new song Inflicted, but I wonder if this really IS a Cospiracy? After what Max said 'Killswitch Engage' sounds Gay, I lost some restpect. Who can look more gay than he and his wife with red and green hair like peacocks? And I was wondering why K.E. is so bad, at least all their songs dont have one chord and sound like Roots! I wonder if this was all a plot or conspiracy to make 3 bands and get more money, and was planned from the beginning? Though this is OK because you do get more bands and more music! Whats the general opinion?

You're talkng rubbish. Max is a legend and the kind of music they're making should tell you that they are definitly not in it for the money. Metal will never be commercially popular, they do it because they love it.

Listen to the Chaos AD or Arise albums by Sepultura and then tell me they only know one chord and every song sounds like Roots.

I love 'em! Max and Igor Cavalera are heroes of mine. Although, I do agree with you after what max said in that interview. I really couldn't believe that. Anywayz, I like Sepultura, but I like Soulfly better. I just recently downloaded the song Inflikted off of Roadrunner.com. And you're right, it's way bada.s.s. I'm def. ready for them to put out the album. If you go to Blabbermouth.net, they just posted a new video interview of Max and Igor yesterday. you should check it out.

I think overall, Soulfly is the best band out of all three.

Sepultura were an awesome band until they decided to fire Max. Seeing as he was the real talent in the band, this explains why they ended up churning out a load of old dross after his departure!

Soulfly picked up where Sepultura had left off after Max's dismissal. Many songs sounding like a natural progression from the ROOTS album.

I think Sepultura are great, haven't heard much Soulfly stuff like, heard that new Inflikted song though....it's quite different and unexpected....would be interested to hear the album though
