i have hair alot like hers and she had some kind of hair thing on ,that kept her hair back but still down. in the room where she was wearing gray? it was the kind of hair thing i could use if i knew what it was help please.

I just went to youtube.com and watched that video and waited for a head turn or something to give more clues... But Im pretty sure Ive figured out some ways you could definately pull that hair style off, you might have to play around with my ideas and im sure you'll eventually find the perfect way to wear your hair and make it look like that-

There is a standard way of making your hair like this by pulling it tight into a pony tail, gel or whatever to keep it flat and tight. next step is just bobbypin bobbypin bobbypin your big beautiful hair kinda going with the hairline- but in alicia keys case, it looks rather like its in a straight line.

The first thing I thought of however was a fish or banana clip- absolutely this is a way you could do this. These clips are usually worn going from horizontally, but in this case, Id apply it from ear to ear, vertical- unless I have my direction names messed up- you know what i mean. go to this website:

either way, if you end up putting your hair in a line of 3 ponytails, one pony tail or trying the combs, you're definately going to have to use a lot of bobby pins to hide the ponys or the combs, but after you figure out what works best, im sure its going to look rad.
