I want to know what u think i am. punk or emo. here it goes:

-i wear band shirts alot. (ramones, led zeppelin, metallica, other good bands)

-skinny jeans

-skinny capris if its hot out

-hightops

-black and red nail polish

-straightened hair

-a little bit of black eyeliner and mascara

please dont tell me 'you are your own person'. tell me if thats PUNK or EMO.

i have had one guy call me a punk and one guy call me an emo.

please settle this!

Punk. i would rate you a 5 cause I'm a punk myself emo are different the like to cut themselves and draw tears on their face kinda close to gothic but kinda far from it.Not from the V below saying its correct

Gothic-Depressed kinda vampire-ish likes death and poetry hates all.

Emo-Sorta like goth but usually wears the front of their hair covering their eye and draws tears on their face.

Punk-Likes alternative rock MAYBE rap songs or other.

Prep-Mall type of person kinda pinkish.

Not sayin these things are correct again its just a hypotheses

i think more punk because emo kids don't really listen to that kinda of music. but that's my opinion.

I say your a poser too. If you were really punk, then you wouldn't be asking people if they thought you were punk. If your not a poser, then your closer to emo. I'm not saying your fake, I'm sure your very real, but I think it is very poser-like to ask if people think your a punk. If you were really punk, you wouldn't give a damn.

actually, i would say neither. granted, it depends on how skinny the jeans are, and if they are any weird colors or anything really out there. generally people who listen to led zep and the ramones and such are definitely not emo (emo's don't like such good music) and generally not punk (that goes into more underground, screaming bands). I would say rebellious, but not punk or emo. I'm kinda like that - i keep shaggy hair, wear led zep, grateful dead, bob dylan, cream, etc t-shirts with average jeans, shoes etc. not hippie, but sorta a rebillious 60-70's style. well, thats what i think.

let me explain this again. "emo" is what people call themselves when they exaggerate their problems to make people feel sorry for them. they cover up the fact that they dont know how to handle it by calling themselves that. "emo" is probably the most pointless thing ive ever heard.

I'd say that you are 85% punk and 15% emo and when I say emo I don't mean cutting yourself, I mean dressing like the stereotypical emo. The black nail polish is a little emo and so is everything else, but mainly punk.
